Sporty one-piece suits that fit closely, create very little air resistance and do not move out of place are a very safe option for more experienced and performance-oriented riders. However, a one-piece suit is not recommended as your very first set of gear, as it can feel uncomfortable at first and needs time to be worn in before it fits properly. For beginners, it is more important to feel comfortable in their clothing so they can fully focus on the bike and the road.

If you enjoy touring with breaks off the bike or use your motorcycle for commuting, you will benefit from a two-piece combination. Two-piece outfits can also be worn comfortably off the bike and often offer practical pockets for keys and your wallet. No matter which option you choose, good visibility is an incredibly important factor when riding.
